ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Karachi’s Shaukat Khanum Hospital which is under construction will be equipped with state of the art equipment.
In his message on Twitter, the prime minister said that the construction of Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Karachi was going on as per the schedule and will be open by December.

PM Imran Khan said that Shaukat Khanum Hospital Karachi will will be twice as big as Lahore. Remember that December is the month on which the 30th anniversary of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust (SKMT) Cancer Hospital is celebrated every year.
Two years ago today, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital, PM Khan met former national bowler Shoaib Akhtar and film star Ali Zafar.

On Twitter, on December 30, 2019, former national fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar expressed his happiness with Prime Minister Imran Khan for attending the 25th anniversary of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital. It may be recalled that the prime minister challenged Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari. He knew the corruption of both, so he formed his own party.
