Karachi police have announced the arrest of a suspect allegedly involved in the kidnapping of a young girl from the Pak Colony area, as reported by media on Sunday.
According to a police spokesperson, the abducted girl, who was reportedly taken from Orangi Town, was found in the residence of the accused, identified as Ziauddin, situated in Asif Colony.
The police initiated a case at Orangi Town police station, and another case was filed at Pak Colony police station concerning an attempted molestation of the abducted girl. The suspect has been transferred to the Investigation Unit for further interrogation.
Earlier this year, Nasirabad local police successfully recovered a girl abducted from the New Karachi area. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Nasirabad confirmed that a raid was conducted, leading to the recovery of the girl, who was then handed over to New Karachi police officials.
Last week, Keamari police reported the arrest of four alleged kidnappers and the rescue of two girls from their captivity. The recovery report was submitted to the Sindh High Court, which expressed satisfaction over the successful recovery of the kidnapped girls. Emphasizing the importance of upholding the law, the court ordered legal action against the suspects responsible for the abduction.
