Karachi police issue traffic plan for tri-nation series, Champions Trophy

The Karachi traffic police have announced a traffic plan for the upcoming cricket matches at the National Stadium, including the tri-series and Champions Trophy.

According to the plan, the matches will take place from February 12-14, 19-21, and March 1.

On match days, the Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open to traffic. Vehicles coming from Karsaz can park at the National Coaching Center and China Ground. Vehicles from Karsaz will pass under the flyover to reach the coaching center and China Ground.

Vehicles from Millennium Mall can park at the National Coaching Center and China Ground. Similarly, vehicles from New Town can also park at these locations.

Heavy traffic will be diverted from Sahra-e-Goth to Nipa and from Liyakat Ali Khan Chowrangi to Hassan Square. Heavy traffic from PP Chowrangi will be diverted to University Road.

According to the traffic plan, certain roads will be closed to heavy traffic, including Karsaz to Stadium Road, Millennium to New Town, and Stadium Signal to Hassan Square.

Vehicles will only be allowed to park at designated parking spots.
