A major infrastructure project aimed at improving urban mobility has been completed in Karachi, with the formal inauguration of a modern dual carriageway stretching from Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Chowrangi to Manghopir Road.
According to media reports, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab inaugurated the project and said it was completed at a cost of more than Rs412 million.
He said the 1.8-kilometre dual carriageway is expected to significantly improve traffic flow in the area and provide smoother commuting for residents.
The mayor added that the project also included the successful rehabilitation of a 700-metre-long, 48-inch-diameter water supply pipeline, which is expected to enhance water distribution in the locality.
Murtaza Wahab said the city administration would continue implementing development projects to improve civic amenities and strengthen Karachi’s urban infrastructure.
