Karachi man shot dead during robbery resistance in PECHS

A man was shot dead after resisting a robbery in Block 2 of PECHS, Karachi, police said.

According to initial reports, three armed suspects riding a single motorcycle carried out a robbery in the street.

As they fled the scene, one of the suspects opened indiscriminate fire, fatally wounding the victim.

Police identified the deceased as Naseem Abbasi, a resident of Jacob Lines who worked as an air-conditioning mechanic.

At the time of the incident, he was reportedly on his way home with a colleague.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspects with the assistance of CCTV footage collected from the area.
