Lahore Qalandars qualified into its first PSL final with a 25-run victory over Multan Sultans in Sunday’s eliminator. Lahore finished last in the previous four editions of PSL but saw a change in fortunes during the tournament.
Fast bowler Mohammad Amir lifted Karachi Kings to their first PSL final after beating Multan Sultans in a super over on Saturday. Karachi King players wore black armbands in memory of Dean Jones, their coach who died in September. Both teams stood in a D shape to honor the former Australia batsman.
Cricketers fans are looking forward to the high-stakes match and stated it has reached the same level of excitement as arch-rivals Pakistan-India match. Analysts say that no team is favourite to win and both sides will have a competitive match to lift the elusive trophy.
