The Karachi administration has issued a notification announcing revised flour prices across the city.
According to the notification issued by Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi, the wholesale price of No. 2 chakki flour has been fixed at Rs110 per kilogram, while the retail price has been set at Rs113 per kilogram.
The notification further stated that the wholesale price of fine flour has been fixed at Rs118 per kilogram, while the retail price has been set at Rs121 per kilogram. Meanwhile, the retail price of chakki flour has been fixed at Rs145 per kilogram.
Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi directed shopkeepers to prominently display the updated price lists at their outlets, warning that strict legal action would be taken against anyone violating the official rates. He added that the notification would come into effect immediately.
The notification further stated that action would also be taken against traders who fail to display the official price list.
