KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has officially announced the results of the Intermediate 12th Class Arts Regular Group annual examinations for 2026.
The announcement was made by Chairman Interboard Karachi, Faqir Muhammad Lakho, who highlighted the outstanding performances of the top-scoring students.
Top Performers
Anshra Bint Muhammad Tawfiq, a student of Iqra Hafiz Girls Science College, Block B, North Nazimabad, secured the first position with 926 marks out of 1100, achieving an A-1 grade. Her roll number is 58093.
The second position was claimed by Aqib Razaq, son of Abdul Razaq, from Government Degree College, Konkar Village, Gadap, with 919 marks and an A1 grade. His roll number is 43415.
Humaira Bint Muhammad Shakir Lakhani, also from Iqra Hafiz Girls Science College, Block B, North Nazimabad, secured the third position with 918 marks and an A1 grade. Her roll number is 58097.
Chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho commended the achievements of the students, particularly emphasizing the hard work, dedication, and excellent guidance of Aqib Razaq, his teachers, and the principal of Government Degree College. He stated that the remarkable success of students from government institutions in the Intermediate results reflects the continuous improvement in the quality of education in Sindh.
Examination Statistics
Zarina Rashid, Director of Examinations, shared the following details:
– Total registered candidates: 10,459
– Candidates who appeared: 10,020
– Successful candidates: 4,526
– Overall pass percentage: 45.25%
The grade-wise breakdown of successful candidates is as follows:
– A1 Grade: 20 candidates
– A Grade: 274 candidates
– B Grade: 762 candidates
– C Grade: 1,647 candidates
– D Grade: 1,659 candidates
– E Grade: 164 candidates
– Passed: 2 candidates
