K-Electric has introduced a new cashless payment facility to help customers save time and make electricity bill payments more convenient.
According to the utility, customers can now visit selected Customer Care Centres and pay their electricity bills instantly using debit or credit cards through Point of Sale (POS) machines.
The company said the new service eliminates the need for customers to carry cash or wait in long queues at banks and other payment centres to settle their bills.
Under the new facility, customers can make payments using a range of major cards, including PayPak, Mastercard, Visa and UnionPay.
K-Electric stated that bill payments made through POS machines will be both fast and secure, enabling the company to provide customers with improved and more modern services.
The company added that the introduction of digital and cashless payment options is aimed at delivering convenient, transparent and timely services while making the bill payment process simpler and more efficient for customers.
