OTTAWA: Canadian singer Justin Bieber has revealed how his singing career has been hugely inspired by black culture.
The singer took to Instagram and wrote in support of the black culture, “I am inspired by black culture. I have benefited from black culture. My style, how I sing, dance, perform, and my fashion has all been influenced and inspired by black culture.”

He continued, “I am committed to using my platform from this day forward to learn, to speak up about racial injustice and systemic oppression, and to identify ways to be a part of much-needed change,” the 26-year-old singer added.
Bieber’s supportive posts regard the black community that came after George Floyd’s death, a man who was killed by police during an arrest in the US on 25th May. Protests in response to both Floyd’s death, and more broadly to police violence against other black people have begun across the country and internationally.
