The President of the State returned the bill to amend the Accountability Ordinance without signing it. Constitutionally, after the approval of the joint parliament session, the bill will become legal within 10 days.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill was approved again despite the disorder in the joint session of the Parliament. PTI members raised slogans against the bill. It was decided to send it for signature.
Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar presented the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Bill 2023 in the joint session last month related to judicial reforms.
