RAWALPINDI: The joint military Exercise “AL-SAMSAAM VII” between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia forces commenced at Hafr Batin, SA.
According to a press release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the training will take place for two weeks.
ISPR reported that the focus of the training will be on counter-terrorism operations including cordon and search operations, combat patrols and dealing with IEDs.
The press release said that the Commander of Royal Saudi Land Forces, Northern Region, Major General Saleh bin Ahmed Al Zehrani graced the opening ceremony as chief guest.
It is pertinent to mention here that Exercise “AL-SAMSAAM VII” is a series of ongoing bilateral military exercises between the Saudi Forces and Pakistan Army.
