Retired WWE star and Hollywood actor John Cena has shaved his head completely ahead of the second stage of his hair transplant.
The 49-year-old posted a photo on social media with hair restoration surgeon Dr. Ken Anderson, showing off his fully shaved look. Cena said he opted to go completely bald this time for better results.
Cena’s short haircut was his trademark for years, but fans noticed thinning at the crown during his final WWE run. In an earlier interview, he admitted fan comments pushed him to get treatment. “I was trying to hide the thinning, but fans kept pointing it out. I decided I should do something about it,” he said.

He also revealed that swelling after his first transplant was so severe that his head “looked like an alien.”
The new photo drew praise from fans online, with many applauding his confidence. Some dubbed him “Stone Cold John Cena,” while others said the bald look suits him.
John Cena retired from wrestling in 2025 after a 23-year career, finishing with a record 17 world titles. He is now focusing full-time on his acting career in Hollywood.
