Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a peaceful protest across the country tomorrow to express solidarity with Palestinians, as reported by national media.
While addressing a press conference at Mansoorah, Lahore, Jamaat-e-Islami Head Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman said that Israel unilaterally ended the ceasefire in Gaza and carried out intense bombings, resulting in the martyrdom of hundreds of people, including children.
Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman stated that the United States and Israel have become terrorist states, and as Muslims, we must raise our voices against this. He further said that the people of Gaza look towards Muslim countries for support.
Naeem ur Rehman emphasized that Pakistan possesses nuclear power and a professional army, and Gaza has expectations from us. He announced a protest across the country tomorrow after Friday prayers to express solidarity with Palestinians, stating that marches will be held towards U.S. consulates in major cities.
He added that the government and all political parties should send a strong message, criticizing Pakistan’s ruling class, he stated that they have significantly weakened the country, while a certain group is attempting to engage in dialogue with Israel. He warned that if the government takes any such step, it will face severe consequences.
