LAHORE: Former Pakistan cricket team captain Wasim Akram has offered a humorous explanation to his wife Shaniera Akram’s comment on his throwback picture.
Shaniera Akram took to Twitter and wrote, “Opened Twitter today and the first thing I saw was a pic of my husband in his underwear!? Is that normal?”

When the comment went noticed by Akram, he came forward and reply, “It’s a new normal biwi and for your kind information they are shorts. They were it then,” he said.

Earlier, Shaniera Akram, who is in Australia, had expressed problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic to be end soon. While taking to Twitter, Shaniera Akram wrote that COVID-19 is taking lives, crippling businesses, and destroying education.

“COVID is taking lives, crippling businesses, destroying education, increasing mental illness, dividing our world & ripping families apart.I know my husband sent us to Oz to be safe but nothing makes me wish the end of COVID more than hearing our baby cry for her daddy every night,” she posted on Twitter.
According to her, her husband sent her to Australia to be safe. However, nothing makes her wish for the end of COVID-19 as it has affected lives badly. Earlier, Shaniera celebrated her 38th birthday this month on 20th March in Australia.
