Actress Hania Aamir, who is called the nation’s crush, has opened up about being trolled on social media.
Hania Aamir’s popular dramas are Titli, Dilruba, Ishqiya, Mere Humsafar, and Mujhe Pyar Hua Tha.
Aamir, who is the second most followed female celebrity with a following of 13 million on Instagram, appeared in BBC Asian Network’s interview, hosted by Haroon Rasheed.
In the interview, Aamir responded to the question about unnecessary social media trolling which she bears on the internet, and said that the hateful comments don’t affect her.
“You have to learn to keep the trolling separate,” she said. The actress said, “I have previously talked about it, I will again say that if my manager and my mother say anything, I will listen to it because they matter to me as they have seen me grow, their opinion matters to me.”
She maintained that people could have opinions, they could tell him things they like in her, and they could have an opinion about her looks, but why should he have to listen to that?
“Yes, their opinions should not be too harsh, but even if it is, it can hurt me for a while but it won’t bother me also the trollers are very few in number,” she said by adding, “I have to dig out the negative comments in my Instagram after fifty good comments”.
