In the wake of Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday, Western mainstream media, despite lack of evidence, reported alleged atrocities carried out by Hamas.
Once again, the Western mainstream media has turned to its playbook of pushing unverified accusations and promoting frequently inaccurate narratives. After an Israeli reporter claimed that bodies of babies, including some with their heads cut off, had been discovered by Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers in the Israeli kibbutz of Kfar Aza, heartbreaking headlines like “Hamas cut the throats of babies,” “An act of sheer evil,” and “Massacre of innocents” were emblazoned across a plethora of media outlets.
Israeli news channel i24 alleged on Tuesday morning that the Al-Qassam Brigades, “beheaded many Israeli babies” during an early-Saturday attack from the Gaza Strip.
The i24 reporter who first made the allegation took to the X, saying “soldiers told me they believe 40 babies/children were killed.”
Hours later, Turkish media Anadolu and some independent journalists contacted the Israeli military over the phone to ask about the claims, with their spokesperson unit saying: “We have seen the news, but we do not have any details or confirmation about that.”
American Journalist Max Blumenthal, associated with The Grayzone, tracked the i24 reporter’s source, turned out it was an Israeli settler, who’s famous for his fascist views, who told the reporter about alleged beheaded babies.
Despite international journalists and news agencies debunking allegations that Palestinian resistance group Hamas “beheaded babies” in Israel, the claim continued to make headlines on Wednesday in Israeli and Western media, receiving millions of social media views.
Almost a dozen British newspapers — including The Times, Metro, The i, Daily Express, The Scotsman, and Financial Times — have run stories on their front pages Wednesday, citing the i24 claims.
While some said “40 babies murdered by Hamas,” others made claims of “babies being murdered,” citing no verification.
The Israeli army reportedly declined to corroborate the assertion, according to reports that appeared online Tuesday afternoon. This gave these newspapers time to investigate their sources and validate their reliability before writing.
On Wednesday morning, Sky News aired the aforementioned publications while going through the day’s newspapers. The host said, “We have not seen the proof of it. We have formally requested confirmation from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) three times. They still haven’t.
Here’s how social media reacted to the blatant lies of Western media;
Crude but effective war propaganda has always featured the deliberate killing of babies by the enemy. This 1915 cartoon reflects UK and US widespread lies about German soldiers killing Belgian babies.
Remember the Saddam/Kuwaiti incubator lies also?https://t.co/MjRaq6TB3Y— Craig Murray – (@CraigMurrayOrg) October 10, 2023
Beheaded babies propaganda now being walked back…
But too late.
In the meantime hundreds of Palestinian babies have been deliberately killed by Israeli forces.#DismantleZionism https://t.co/OH3ZlNDCZ3

The source for the “beheaded babies” claim is Israeli channel i24 News. A Haaretz investigation previously found that i24 News functions as a proxy for the Netanyahu family, with directives coming directly from the Israeli Prime Minister’s office at times.(Lowkey tweet) https://t.co/oNCv6HPhXj

A White House spokesperson has confirmed that Joe Biden has, in fact, NOT seen pictures of beheaded babies, as he implied during his speech.
All of this while Israel has killed over 326 children in Gaza.

Biden lied about seeing images of beheaded children. LIED ABOUT SEEING IMAGES OF BEHEADED CHILDREN. This is all about manufacturing consent for genocide in Gaza. I cannot wrap my head around the profound implications of this. https://t.co/0fJ6l81gvR

Palestinian babies killed in the carpet bombing by Israel on Gaza.
I say carpet bombing because when entire neighbourhoods are taken down, that is the exact definition of carpet bombing.
Israel and Zionists knew this was no doubt coming, hence they coined up the “40 beheaded… pic.twitter.com/ppEM3y2McA

Western pundits can’t accept that Hamas didn’t behead 40 babies and that the story is a lie planted by the Israeli military.
A normal person would be relieved that such a horror didn’t happen.
Instead they become angry, as if they’re emotionally attached to the idea of…
