The ceasefire has been extended by one more day, a few minutes before the end of the cease-fire in Gaza, while efforts to mediate between Israel and Hamas continue.
According to the details, Israel and Hamas agreed on a 1-day ceasefire. Arab media said that Israel was provided with a list of prisoners to be released, which Israel rejected and demanded the exchange of prisoners.
Later, Israel agreed to extend the cease-fire against Hamas by one more day. Israeli forces said that the aim of extending the ceasefire is to free more hostages, while aid to Palestinians is also continuing.
On the other hand, Israeli forces have said, without specifying a time frame, that the release of hostages will continue as a result of mediation efforts. They will also continue to pause attacks under the agreed framework.
It should be noted that in the war that started on October 7 last month, Israel killed 15,000 Palestinians, including 6,150 children and 4,000 women, while at least 7,000 people were buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
At least 4,700 children and women are among the people buried under the rubble of buildings whose chances of survival are fading with the passage of time. Israel killed 207 medical staff and 26 rescue workers, as well as 70 journalists.
