Irani President warns Donald Trump over his threats

TEHRAN: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday has warned US President Donald Trump and said “never threaten the Irani nation,” after Trump issued a statement about attacking 52 Iranian sites.

In the latest tweet, President Rouhani said, “Those who refer to the number 52 should also remember the number 290. #IR655 Never threaten the Iranian nation.”

Referring to 290 passengers in Iran air 655 that were shot down in 1988 by US warship. He stated that Iran is a sovereign nation and is more than capable of defending itself and retaliate against its enemies.

The American President tweeted, “If Iran retaliates America will hit 52 targets in Iran if any USA personnel is attacked”, 52 is the number of representatives that were held hostage in American embassy Tehran during the revolution in 1979. Donald Trump warned Iran that all 52 targets will be Iran’s cultural and important sites.
