India’s narcotics bureau raids Rhea Chakraborty’s house in Sushant Singh case

MUMBAI: India’s top Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has reached Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty’s residence to conduct a search in connection related to the probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

The residence of Chakraborty which is located in Mumbai was raided early in the morning today as the actress, who was also a friend of the late Sushant Singh Rajput was accused of supplying drugs to the deceased actor. Chakraborty’s brother was also involved in the matter.

The Deputy Director of NCB, KPS Malhotra, while conducting the search operation procedure told the Indian media that it was just a procedural matter and the raids were being conducted at two places- Rhea Chakraborty and Rajput’s close friend Samuel Miranda’s house.

The NCB teams also acquired access to Showik and Rhea’s gadgets such as computers and emails. Whatsapp chats between Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty indicate that the duo used to arrange drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput.

Rhea Chakraborty is among those named in the first information report (FIR) registered as per Sushant Singh Rajput’s father’s complaint, who has accused her of assisting his suicide and misappropriating his son’s money. 34-years -old Rajput was found dead from suicide in his apartment on 14th June.
