An Indian motorcyclist in Uttar Pradesh nearly escaped being hit by a train but could not save his motorcycle from being crushed.
A CCTV footage shows a 24-year-old biker attempting to cross a railway crossing but ending up in disaster. He reportedly tried to go across the tracks even as security gates had been closed.
In the footage, his motorcycle can be seen getting stuck near the tracks, forcing him to abandon the vehicle and flee as the train came closer.
The motorcycle was completely crushed as the train rammed into it, sending its pieces flying into the air. However, the man reportedly tried to flee the scene but was later apprehended and a case has been registered against him.
Despite numerous accidents at railway crossings, it is alarming that people still continue to violate rules. Every year, the lives of youth are lost after several attempts to take a selfie with an oncoming train.
