SUKKUR: In yet another heartwarming cross-border love story, an Indian boy named Mohinder Kumar tied the knot with Pakistani girl Sanjogta Kumari after befriending each other on a social media platform.
According to details gathered by MM News, the two developed a friendly relationship and decided to marry, leading the groom and his family to travel to Pakistan to take his bride.
The wedding was held with great fanfare at a local hall in Sukkur, attended by relatives and friends of the couple, as well as members of the Hindu community from the Sindh province. The couple will soon be heading to India to start their married life together.
It may be mentioned here that the cross-border marriages are not uncommon, with notable examples including Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik marrying Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, and Pakistani cricketer Mohsin Hassan Khan marrying Indian actress Reena Roy.
