NEW DELHI: Team India completed a one-sided 168-run triumph over New Zealand in Ahmedabad to win the series 2-1 this week. During the process, the Indian team broke Pakistan’s previous world record, registering the biggest victory margin in a T20I game between full-member teams. Before India’s win over the Black Caps, India and Pakistan were the joint holders of the record, accomplishing 143-run victories over Ireland and West Indies, respectively, in 2018.
The New Zealand team came to India to play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is. India won the first ODI series 3-0. After this, the Indian team participated in the T20 series with young players.
New Zealand team won the first T20I and India team won the 2nd match and tied the series. In this case, the last T20 match between the two teams was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium yesterday.
