Milan Fashion Week 2026 wrapped up this weekend, reaffirming its status as one of the most dynamic events on the fashion calendar, even amid the buzz of the Sanremo Festival. Designers brought bold creativity, theatricality, and innovative techniques to the runway, delivering memorable moments that captivated audiences worldwide.
Demna, in his debut show as Creative Director for the house, channeled a “femme fatale” energy with slinky dresses, voluminous feathers, and sheer fabrics.
A viral highlight featured supermodel Kate Moss in a daring backless gown paired with a logo-bearing thong, instantly dominating social media conversations.

Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons presented a masterclass in layering, with only 15 models walking the runway. Each appeared four times, shedding trench coats and anoraks to reveal intricate, color-blocked outfits beneath, transforming the runway into a dynamic storytelling space.
Maria Grazia Chiuri returned to Fendi with a collection celebrating “the return to desire,” blending sheer laces, plush furs, and beaded dresses that embrace the body rather than constrict it.
Meanwhile, Louise Trotter explored “operatic drama,” showcasing soft structures and the brand’s signature intrecciato weave on flowing leather skirts and oversized knits, creating movement that exuded bold, theatrical bravado.
