NEW DELHI: Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik’s wife Mashaal Hussain Malik has said that the life of her husband, who is being kept in solitary confinement in India on baseless charges, is in danger.
In her message on the social networking website Twitter, the wife of the Kashmiri Hurriyat leader said that Yasin Malik is admitted to the hospital and his life is in great danger.

Hurriyat leader’s wife Mushaal Hussein Malik further said that Yasin Malik has refused to seek medical help from doctors. It should be noted that Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik has been kept in the infamous Tihar Jail hospital in India.
It should be noted that earlier Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik was transferred to a separate cell in India’s infamous Tihar Jail and kept in solitary confinement.
According to Indian media reports, the authorities of Tihar Jail also stopped Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik’s mother and sister from meeting him, on which statements of condemnation from Hurriyat leaders came out.
Reports said that Yasin Malik is also being closely monitored in Tihar Jail. Later, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front also strongly condemned the transfer of Yasin Malik to a separate jail cell.
