LAHORE:Pakistan cricket star, Shaheen Shah Afridi said that he pays no heed to negative news and focuses only on the performance.
While speaking in a media session, Afridi said, “Off the field, the negative news keeps on coming. I try not to pay any attention to it.”

When asked how a cricket star manages social media storm, he said, “Because there is competition [for places] in fast bowling, I tend to keep my focus on performance”.
Afridi is all set to leave for Australia tour shortly where he will join the rest of the Pakistani squad.
The Pakistani cricketer had contracted dengue virus. He later suffered from a hamstring injury.

He cleared all the concerns regarding his fitness and said, “I am now completely fit. I have also played a first-class match that improved my match fitness. Right now I have no fitness issues. To regain fitness I bowled 113 overs.”
Earlier on Sunday, Twenty20 match between Pakistan & Australia in the first of three Twenty20 in Sydney got delayed due to rain.
According to the forecast, by the time of the toss the clouds had started to build up and rain started to fall before the scheduled start.

Pakistani T20 cricket players kept walking back to the pavilion by losing easy wickets to Australia one after the other. At 12.4 overs, Pakistan had scored 88 for three wickets.
