Actress and model Humaira Asghar’s father and brother have refused to receive her dead body and stated that they had cut off ties with the deceased long ago.
As per the details, the police called the numbers in the phone records of actress Humaira Asghar. First, her brother received the call, but when the police informed him about the actress’s death and her dead body, he asked the police officer to talk to his father.
After receiving the police call, Humaira’s father angrily said that they had nothing to do with her. “We have cut off ties with her long ago. Do whatever you want with her body. We will not receive it,” he told the police.
The police have said that they would try once more to persuade the family to receive the body; otherwise, it will be declared heirless and will be buried.
Humaira Asghar’s family is originally from Lahore. Her father, Asghar Ali, is a doctor with an army background. There is no public information about her mother.
Humaira Asghar Ali was mysteriously found dead in her Karachi apartment on Tuesday. Law enforcement officials said the cause of death initially appears to be natural; however, a definitive determination will be made following the postmortem report. The dead body was one month old.
