Residents of Sukkur and Rohri have received encouraging news as the trial run of the historic and tourism-oriented “Hojamalo Train” has been successfully completed.
Preparations for the official launch of the service are now in their final stages.
According to railway authorities, the trial operation of the Hojamalo Train was conducted successfully and reviewed by Chairman Kamil Haider Shah along with relevant railway officials.
The initiative aims to make travel between Sukkur and Rohri more attractive while promoting local tourism in the region.
The Hojamalo Train will offer passengers the opportunity to enjoy scenic views of the River Indus, the historic Lansdowne Bridge and the surrounding landscape. Beyond providing a transportation service, the train is expected to showcase the region’s rich history, culture and natural beauty.
