A 17-year-old girl was shot dead in Quetta for allegedly making a TikTok video. The girl’s relatives are allegedly involved in the killing and over suspicion police have arrested her father and two uncles and an investigation has been launched.
As per police Hira Anwar was a green card holder and had come to Pakistan with her parents a few days ago. The killing incident occurred in the Balochi Street area under the jurisdiction of the Gwalmandi police station. She was shot at the main gate of her house.
The police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital. Later it was handed over to the heirs after a post-mortem.
According to police sources, despite being told not to make TikTok, the girl persisted in doing so, as a result of which her family allegedly shot and killed her.
The police have arrested the girl’s father Anwarul Haq and two uncles on suspicion. According to SHO Gowalmandi Babar Baloch, the real facts behind the incident will come out after the investigation.
