Actress Hania Aamir, who is one of the actresses who often gets trolled for different reasons, has revealed the reason for staying inactive on Instagram.
Recently, Hania Aamir held a question and answer session on her Instagram account with her followers. One of the netizens questioned the Ishqiya actress about the reason for staying away from social media and being inactive on Instagram nowadays.
To which Aamir replied, “Don’t feel like it anymore! I’ve picked enough battles here. Voicing your opinions comes at a price, and the price is your mental health. Mean comments, putting each other down on the internet had started getting to me, and honestly, I lost faith in humanity. So I needed a break!”
“I don’t like putting my life there anymore. I’m at peace. I like that people know less and say less. Maybe one day Instagram and I can rekindle the friendship we once had, but for now I’m good”, added Hania.
Earlier in June, Hania Aamir was trolled by social media users after posting a video on her Instagram, in which she was seen lying on Aashir Wajahat son of director and producer Shazia Wajahat and Wajahat Rauf.
Hania also removed the video from her Instagram handle but it was re-shared on different social media forums and the actress faced a lot of hate comment and became the vitcitm of online trolling.
