Welcome to another rundown of what’s new on Netflix this month. As July has arrived, which means a fresh batch of movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix.
While many are no doubt still making their way through “Stranger Things” Season 4 and “The Umbrella Academy”, here is the list of most anticipated new releases coming to Netflix this July:
1) Boo, Bitch (July 8, 2022)
A new limited series headlined by Lana Condor, the series is about two friends who have a hard time getting noticed at school but things change when one turns into a ghost.
2) Persuasion (July 15, 2022)
Dakota Johnson starrer Persuasion is a new adaptation of Persuasion, the author’s final completed novel. After 2020’s Emma and countless imaginings of Pride and Prejudice, it’s not surprising that there is an insatiable demand for Austen adaptations.

3) Resident Evil (July 14, 2022)
Netflix’s Resident Evil live-action series is taking an interesting approach to the franchise, based on the long-running series of video games. The show is actually set in two distinct time periods.
Fun Fact: The series also our very own Pakistani actor Ahad Raza Mir among Ella Balinska, Lance Reddick, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nuñez, Connor Gossatti, and Turlough Convery.
4) Indian Predator (July 20, 2022)
Directed by Ayesha Sood, the docu-series Indian Predator: The Butcher of Delhi is based on a real-life case. Its a series of mutilated bodies and taunting notes left outside a Delhi jail that sends police hunting for a seasoned killer with a grudge against the system.
5) The Longest Night (July 8, 2022)
The Longest Night is a story about a night of December 24th when a group of armed men surround the Monte Baruca prison and cut off communications with the outside. Their objective: capture Simón Lago (Luis Callejo), a dangerous serial killer. If the guards hand him over, the assault will be over in a matter of minutes.
6) Girl In The Picture (July 6, 2022)
The upcoming true-crime documentary Girl in the Picture is directed by Skye Borgman, who was behind Netflix’s true-crime hits such as Abducted in Plain Sight and Dead Asleep and delves deep into a harrowing mystery that went unsolved for 30 years.
The woman at the heart of the film is Sharon Marshall, a woman who died under mysterious circumstances in 1990, leaving behind a man claiming to be her husband and her son.
