Since morning, a hashtag of ‘Karachi Eat’ since morning and for those who missed Karachi Eat last night and missed lots of horrific incidents.
Eyewitnesses of the festival which took place at Beach View Park recalled, “When we were going inside everything was okay but when I went out to get my friends it was a huge mess people were jumping through the walls also a huge amount of people breached in, it was so scary. A lot of harassment cases were also reported.”
Another one wrote: ‘A gang of literally 8 Afghan guys was standing beside us. I initially thought they were a random group, but I wasn’t getting good vibes. After that, asked my friend to get a shopper and we should leave while I stood there with my daughter and leftover food. They all literally came and sat beside me, and I shouted kia masla hai and tried to take over the food from my hands. I slapped one of them on his back, and they all ran away within seconds.”
