As we know, Netflix has plenty of movies and shows for viewers to watch, but it’s a really mixed pack. Sometimes finding the right movie at the right time can seem like an impossible task.
Below is a list of some of our favorite movies and shows which the were recently released on the online streaming service. From dramas to comedies to thriller movies, here are our top five picks:
1) Love in the Villa
Directed and written by Mark Steven Johnson, Love in the Villa is a story of a young woman named Julie who, after a sudden breakup, decides to go on a solo venture to the romantic city of Verona, Italy and meet Charlie with who she has to share a romantic villa. This movie is a classic rom-com. Released on 1st September, its streaming on Netflix.

2) Devil in Ohio
Devil in Ohio is a 2022 Drama Thriller series created by Daria Polatin and its story revolves around the escape of a girl named Mae from the Satan-worshiping cult in Amontown who meets Dr. Suzanne foster in a hospital. The limited series released on Netflix on 2nd September.
3) I Came By
Suspense thriller ‘I Came By, is a movie directed by Babak Anvari which revolves around graffiti artist Toby, who discovers a shocking secret when he breaks into the home of retired judge Sir Hector Blake’s Hugh Bonneville. His actions not only endanger himself, but also the lives of his mother Lizzie, and his friend Jay. The movie released on Netflix on 31st August.
4) Echoes
Netflix’s Echoes builds up as a mystery drama focusing on one of its twin sisters’ disappearance but leads to an even more confusing end. Released on the streaming giant’s platform on August 19, Echoes stayed on Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV shows in English for two weeks straight.
5) Me Time
‘Me Time’ is a comedy film starring Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg, which follows Hart as he reconnects with his best friend Wahlberg for a wild weekend while his wife (Regina Hall) and kids are away. Directed and written by John Hamburg, the movie was released on August 26, 2022.
