KARACHI: Sindh Health Department has informed that the coronavirus patient of coronavirus in Karachi is recovering and will be sent home soon.
In a statement issued by the Health Department, the health of the 22-year-old patient was improving and his life is out of danger.
The Health Department further stated that the patient will be sent home soon after his quarantine term expires.
The family and friends of the patient were tested for the virus and the results came back negative, confirmed the health department.
The department further revealed that today marks the eighth day that the patient arrived in Pakistan from Iran.
Earlier on Wednesday, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr. Zafar Mirza announced the first two cases of coronavirus in Pakistan.
The one case was reported in Karachi and the other case was diagnosed in the federal capital.
