Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t been having a great time lately after what happened with Manchester United and Portugal at World Cup 2022. He continues to receive criticism from the football world. The latest to stick the boot in has been Italian coach Fabio Capello who blasted the former Man United’s star.
“I think Cristiano Ronaldo has been asking for it. And he has discredited a lot of what he’s done in his career,” the former AC Milan, Real Madrid and Roma coach said.
Capello held an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, in which he analyzed in depth what he thinks of Cristiano’s situation.

“We are not talking about the player, but about the moment: he was presumptuous, he went around offering himself without finding anyone who believed him. He has become a bit of a nuisance for a team,” Capello said.
On the contrary, about Lionel Messi he said that “he was one of the best in the world even without having a World Cup” and that “Pele, Diego Maradona and Messi have done things that others don’t even think about”.
