RAWALPINDI: Youngster Haider Ali and Captain Babar Azam smashed half-centuries as Pakistan thrashed Zimbabwe in the second Twenty20 International and also won the three-match series.
Chasing an easy target of 135, Pakistan lost only two wickets to complete a comfortable victory in only 15.1 overs here at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today (Sunday).
Haider Ali made an unbeaten 66 off 43 balls and Babar Azam (51) hit a second successive half-century off 28 deliveries. The duo shared a 100-run second-wicket stand off only 63 balls before Azam holed out at long off.

Pakistan has maintained their unbeatable record of winning all matches against Zimbabwe in T20I cricket. Earlier, after being put in to bat, fast bowler Haris Rauf and leg-spinner Usman Qadir restricted Zimbabwe to 134-7.

Harris and Usman captured three wickets each for 31 and 23 runs, respectively. The main scorers for Zimbabwe were Ryan Burl (32) and Wesley Madhevere (24) as no other batsman could make any significant contribution.
