OpenAI has unveiled the long-awaited new version of ChatGPT, GPT-5, which the company claims can deliver PhD-level expertise, as reported by international media.
According to details, OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman said at the launch of the new model that it is a smarter, faster, and more useful version.
Recently, Elon Musk also made similar claims about his AI chatbot, Grok, which has been integrated into X (formerly known as Twitter).
At the launch of Grok’s latest version last month, Elon Musk said that Grok is better than PhD-level in everything and is the world’s smartest AI.
Generally, AI models tend to hallucinate at any time during various questions. Sam Altman stated that OpenAI’s new model will experience fewer hallucinations and will be less deceptive.
OpenAI claims that GPT-5 has been trained to be more honest, offers more accurate responses to users, and overall feels more human.
