ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry has said the federal government allowed the export of N-95 and surgical masks from the country.
On a social media website Twitter, the minister announced the development today and said that it was the last item under the personal protective equipment (PPE) that was not permitted by the federal cabinet today to be exported from the country.
He further said, “When COVID-19 endemic hit the country on February 26, we were importing the PPE equipment. He said that currently, the country has become one of the biggest exporters of the COVID-19 material”, he added.
