ISLAMABAD: The government on Sunday decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged for next fortnight, finance ministry said in a statement issue here.
“The government has decided to maintain the current prices of Petrol and High Speed Diesel (HSD) during the fortnight starting from 1st January, 2024, as recommended by Oil and Gas RegulatoryAuthority(OGRA),” it said.
Maulana Fazl’s convoy comes under attack in DI Khan
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s convoy came under attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday. A spokesperson for the JUI-F has confirmed the incident, stating that the assault occurred near the Ziark Interchange in DI Khan. Maulana Fazlur Rehman was heading for an election campaign in a convoy when firing took place nearby. The JUI-F chief was reportedly passing through Dera Ismail Khan as part of his election campaign when the incident occurred. After the attack, Fazl successfully reached his ancestral home in Abdul Khel, where he is reported to be safe. JUI-F
Accordingly, petrol would be available at current rate i.e. Rs.267.34 per liter whereas HSD would be sold at Rs.276.21 per liter.
