Gold surges Rs2,000 to Rs461,936 per tola

Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday, mirroring the upward trend in the international market.

In the local market, gold price per tola reached Rs461,936 after it gained Rs2,000 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs396,035 after it increased by Rs1,715 according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Saturday, gold price per tola reached Rs459,936 after a decline of Rs500

The international gold rate gained $20 to $4,395 per ounce (with a $20 premium).

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by Rs80 to reach Rs7,029 per tola.
