Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Monday, mirroring the downward trend in the international market.
In the local market, gold price per tola dropped by Rs2,300 to settle at Rs428,936.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs367,743 after it fell by Rs1,972, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold price per tola reached Rs431,236 after a decline of Rs1,000 during the day.
The international rate of gold declined by $23 to reach $4,065 per ounce (with a premium of $20).
Meanwhile, the price of silver also decreased by Rs69 to reach Rs6,324 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
