Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Wednesday, mirroring the downward trend in international bullion rates.
According to rates released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs3,700 to Rs458,236.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold declined by Rs3,172 to Rs392,863.
On Tuesday, gold prices remained unchanged, with one tola trading at Rs461,936.
In the international market, gold prices fell by $37 to $4,358 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver prices also recorded a decline in the local market. The price of silver fell by Rs186 to Rs6,800 per tola.
It should be noted that the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) releases official gold rates at around 1 PM from Monday to Saturday.
