Though the rates of gold decreased in the international market on Tuesday the Pakistani jewellers market witnessed a big hike in prices.
As per details, Â the price of pure gold of 24 karats increased by Rs1,100 per tola in the Pakistani market.
After this increase in prices, the pure gold of 24 karats traded at Rs2,22,900 per tola in the local jewellery market.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat pure gold increased by Rs943 and traded at Rs1,91,101 per 10 grams.
The yellow metal of 22 karats of gold which is usually used for jewellery making, sold at the rate of Rs1,75,176 per 10 grams.
On Tuesday, in the International market, the price of pure gold of 24 karats decreased by 11 dollars per ounce to 1,903 dollars per ounce.
On the other hand, the price of 24 karat silver per tola and per 10 grams also remained the same at Rs2,750 and Rs2,357.68 respectively.
