Gold prices in Pakistan surged further on Thursday, with a significant hike of Rs2,800, bringing the price per tola to Rs309,300 in the local market.
Similarly, the price for 10-gram gold rose by Rs2,400, reaching Rs265,174, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On the previous day, Wednesday, the per tola gold price saw a modest increase of Rs500.
Meanwhile, international gold prices also experienced an upward trend on Thursday, reaching $2,942 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $27 rise during the day, as reported by the APGJSA.
Silver prices, however, remained steady at Rs3,440 per tola.
