Global coronavirus cases surpasses 19 million

WASHINGTON: The number of coronavirus infection cases across the world has surged to 19,259,391 and the pandemic has so far claimed over 717,687 lives.
The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the United States has risen to 5,032,179 and the total number of deaths has reached 162,804.
In Brazil, more than 2.917 million people have been infected with corona and 98,644 deaths have been reported. India is the third-largest country affected by the coronavirus, with more than 2,025,000 patients and 41,638 deaths.
In Russia, 871,894 people have been affected by Corona, bringing the total death toll to 14,606. The death toll from Corona in South Africa has risen to 9,600, with 538,184 people affected.

The death toll from Corona in Peru has risen to more than 20,400, with a total of more than 455,000 cases.
In Mexico, 462,690 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus and more than 50,500 have lost their lives. The coronavirus has infected more than 366,000 people in Chile and killed 9,889 people.
The death toll from Corona in Spain has risen to 28,500, with a total of more than 354,000 cases. The death toll from corona in the UK has risen to 46,413, with 38,134 people infected with the coronavirus.
