The board of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has approved a compensation and consideration package for Mr. Rehmat Ali Hassani.
According to sources, under this package, he will be given a monthly salary of 90 lakh rupees. In addition, a performance bonus will be given based on key performance indicators, which will be determined fairly with the approval of shareholders. A monthly house rent allowance of 10 lakh rupees will be given, which will take the place of a staff residence.
Other considerations include:
- The bank will bear the cost of two landlines and two mobile phones.
- Four security guards will be stationed at the residence in two shifts for 24 hours.
- Five domestic staff salaries (150,000 rupees per month) will be paid.
- A new car worth up to 2800 CC will be provided, and the option to purchase the car at 10% of its cost will be given upon completion of the contract.
- Two drivers will be provided, or their salaries (35,000 rupees per driver per month) will be paid.
- A fully paid medical and dental correction will be provided in Pakistan for the individual and those under their sponsorship (no facilities will be provided after retirement).
Other facilities include:
- Life insurance coverage of 3 crore rupees, for which the bank and Mr. Rehmat Ali Hassani will each pay 50%.
- One month’s salary will be given as gratuity for each year of employment.
- Mr. Rehmat Ali Hassani will be paid a fee for sponsoring one dog of his choice and will also receive a fee for keeping up to three dogs.
- Upon completion of the contract, the bank will give a three-month notice or provide notice pay.
- If Mr. Rehmat Ali Hassani wishes to resign, they will have to give a three-month notice or pay three months’ salary in lieu of notice.
