Chaahat Pandey’s journey on Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 18 came to an end on Sunday, after nearly 14 weeks of intense competition. Known for her portrayal of the quintessential traditional Indian girl, Chaahat earned a reputation as one of the more innocent and unassuming contestants on the show.
According to a report by Indian Express on Monday, while some fellow contestants labeled her as “fake,” she stayed true to her persona, keeping her emotions and reactions mostly in check.
Before joining Bigg Boss 18, Chaahat was rumored to be involved in conflicts with her co-stars, which she firmly denied, calling it “fake news.” She had shared that, being new to living with strangers, she wasn’t sure how she would react in some situations, but remained mentally strong and ready to judge people quickly.
She did admit, however, that she tends to cry easily, something she wanted to control in the high-pressure environment of the house. Chaahat’s personal life also became a point of discussion, especially regarding her alleged relationship with Manas Shah.
While the makers shared images of Chaahat receiving gifts from him, both Chaahat and her mother denied the claims. In fact, her mother even offered a Rs21 lakh reward for anyone who could present her daughter’s alleged boyfriend in person.
As her time on Bigg Boss 18 concluded, Chaahat Pandey’s reputation as a steadfast, emotional, and somewhat enigmatic contestant remained intact.
