Football players arrive in Pakistan to play exhibition matches

KARACHI: Football players Ricardo Kaka, Luis Figo, Carles Puyol, and Nicolas Anelka have arrived in Pakistan to play exhibition matches for World Soccer Stars.

The stars arrived in Karachi on Saturday morning and will be in action later in the evening at Rahat Stadium against Karachi FC.

The matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore.

The former France footballer, Nicolas Anelka said that he was looking forward to today’s game.

Anelka said, “It feels good, I’m happy to be back in Pakistan. Hopefully, we will see a good game today.”

The former French footballer added, “Looking forward to a good time and enjoying my time here with the fans and the players.”

The tickets for the event can be bought from selected McDonalds in Karachi, Rahat Stadium DHA, and Movenpick hotels.

The standard ticket price is Rs8,000 and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The players will then move to Lahore to play another exhibition match on November 10.
