ISLAMABAD: The flight operations on Monday at Islamabad International Airport were affected by dense fog in neighboring airport areas.
Regarding the heavy fog, the spokesman on Monday asked the passengers in the ticket booking section to register their numbers with the authorities so they could be informed of any delays of flights.

While on the other hand, in the several cities of Punjab, the thick fog has severely affected the movement of road traffic, train and air route in the country.
The spokesperson for the Motorway Police said the section of the motorway from Sher Shah Interchange to Sukkur (M5) was closed as visibility was very poor. Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s motorway section from Peshawar to Swabi (M1) was also closed due to heavy fog, he added.
