The recent Pakistani dramas are reaching new heights of popularity because of the huge fan following of actors and strong scripts.

1) Tere Bin

On YouTube, the most-watched drama this week was Tere Bin. The drama collected 19 million and 14 million views for two episodes within 24 hours. The drama featured the complicated story of characters which was based on serious social issues so their fans were rooting for a romantic project of the couple. Meerab’s life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out about her family’s decision regarding her and Murtasim’s life.

Meerab’s hatred towards Murtasim continues to grow as a family secret from the past resurfaces. Coming from different backgrounds and mindsets, Murtasim begins to realize Meerab’s arrogant behaviour towards him and begins to consider her a challenge for himself. On the other hand, Meerab who is used to living her life on her own terms refuses to accept Murtasim’s family traditions and unnecessary social barriers.

2) Jhoom

Jhoom collected around 19.5 million views this week. The drama revolves around the love story of Aryaan and Maryam. Maryam is a successful doctor and Aryaan is a young boy who falls in love with Maryam despite her old age.

Maryam is hesitant to accept Aryaan’s relationship because of fear of society. While Aryaan comes from a problematic family which makes him eager for love. he finds solace and happiness in love with Maryam. But society does not approve of their relationship because of the age difference.

3) Ahram-e-Junoon

Ahram-e-Junoon became the third most-watched show with 19 million views. The drama’s plot centers on Shanzay, a wealthy girl, and Shani, a poor lad. She immediately fell in love with a charming boy. When she learns that he is working as a pizza delivery guy while holding an MBA, she offers him a position in her father’s business.

4) Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha

Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha garnered 7.9 million views. The drama is a love triangle between Maheer, Saad, and Areeb. Saad has always been in love with his cousin Maheer but when he fails to confess it to her, life takes a different turn; and Areeb enters the frame. Due to a little misunderstanding, things start to fall apart and trust between the lovers shatters.

5) Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri

Muhabbat Gumshuda Meri collected 6.7 million views. The plot of this drama revolves around two youngsters: Zobia and Saim who are neighbors who fall in love with each other.
